Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 15, 2026
Switch Analytics LLC ("Switch Analytics", "we", "us") operates switchanalytics.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We build business intelligence solutions for professional services firms, and we apply the same care to your data that we expect our clients to apply to theirs.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company, and message. We use it to respond to your inquiry and, where appropriate, to follow up about our services.
Usage information collected automatically. When you browse the site, we and our analytics providers collect standard usage data: pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, referring site, campaign parameters, browser and device type, and IP address.
Business visitor identification. As a business-to-business company, we use first-party analytics that associates a visit's IP address with the organization or network operator it is registered to (for example, a law firm's corporate network). This identifies organizations, not individual people. We use it to understand which firms are interested in our services. Residential and mobile carrier networks are filtered out and are not treated as business visits.
Analytics tools we use
- Google Analytics 4 measures site traffic and usage patterns. Google may set cookies to distinguish visitors. Learn more at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Microsoft Clarity provides heatmaps and session replay so we can see how the site is used and improve it. Clarity may capture mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling. Text you type into the contact form is masked. Learn more at privacy.microsoft.com.
- First-party visitor analytics run on our own infrastructure. They use browser local storage identifiers, not cookies, and never track you across other websites. IP-to-organization lookups are performed via IPinfo.
How we use information
- Responding to inquiries and demo requests
- Understanding which pages and content are useful, and improving the site
- Understanding which organizations are researching our services
- Measuring the effectiveness of our marketing
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising networks, remarketing pixels, or cross-site tracking.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers that operate the tools above (Google, Microsoft, IPinfo, and our database hosting provider, Supabase), each acting on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Retention
Contact form submissions are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry and maintain our business records. Google Analytics event data is retained for 14 months. First-party analytics data is reviewed and pruned periodically.
Your choices
- Use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on linked above
- Block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings
- Email us at sales@switchanalytics.com to ask what information we hold about you or to request deletion
Children
Our website and services are directed at businesses and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
